This heartwarming non-fiction film follows a year in the lives of two unconventional and inspirational teachers at Headfort, an enchanting 18^th century Hogwarts-like boarding school in Ireland. For nearly half a century John and Amanda Leyden have become legends teaching Reading, ‘Rithmetic, and Rock ‘n’ Roll to young pupils, ages 3-13. The pace is hectic and the mood infectious as the eccentric couple works their magic in hilarious fashion on fertile young minds. But for pupil and teacher alike, there is poignancy in discovering that leaving is the hardest lesson to learn.
